Fees & Terms

My fee is payable in full within ONE WEEK of my sending the contract. I send the contract as soon as the couple inform me that they would like to retain my services.

Should I not be in receipt of fee and contract a minimum of one month from when the contract is sent to the client, any verbal/email agreement will be null and void and clients must seek another officiant. If clients are in difficulty over meeting this deadline, they are welcome to discuss with me and I will endeavour to seek a solution.

What My Fee Includes:

  • Unlimited access to me, via email or phone, for all questions or concerns.

  • A legal contract and a complete information package including all info on how to buy a marriage license, suggestions for vows, ring vows and readings, a questionnaire, a suggested ceremony template including suggested orders of bridal party entrances, and more.

  • A  thoughtfully created, bespoke ceremony script. Short (30 mins max is suggested) but heartfelt, written by me, a professional copywriter, in full consultation with the couple and based on their responses to my questionnaire. The script includes the government-required vow written in easy, answer-only format.

  • Personal delivery by me of the script at the wedding ceremony. Years of experience have made me a confident public speaker, before any size of audience - from small couple-only elopements to hundreds of guests.

  • Age and gender-appropriate goody bags for participating children and dogs, presented to a responsible adult, only with parental or owner permission obtained in advance.

  • A keepsake copy of the ceremony, mailed to the couple.

  • Legal registration of the ceremony with the provincial government.
